MMA-SA is officially affiliated to:

• The International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF), the global governing body for Mixed Martial Arts
• Martial Arts South Africa (MASA), the recognised national federation for non-Olympic and non-IOC martial arts disciplines in South Africa.
• South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee (SASCOC) through its MASA affiliation.

Through its MASA and SASCOC affiliations, MMA-SA remains compliant with national standards, safeguarding protocols, and the broader vision of developing martial arts across all communities in South Africa.
